Dong Zhaogang

Biography

Dr. Dong Zhaogang is an Associate Professor in the Science, Mathematics, and Technology (SMT) Cluster at the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD). He received a B.Eng. degree with 1st class Honour (2005) and a Ph.D. degree (2012) from Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. From 2012 to 2024, he worked in the Institute of Materials Research and Engineering (IMRE) of A*STAR as scientist. His research interests include sub-10-nm nanofabrication, nanophononics, dielectric nanoantennas, plasmonics, quantum optical and superconducting devices. He has authored or co-authored ~80 refereed journal papers, including ACS Nano, Science Advances, Nature Communications, Nature Photonics, Nature Electronics, Advanced Functional Materials, Nano Letters, and so on. He also holds four PCT patents.
